FrustrationTrivia.com Privacy Policy |
FrustrationTrivia.com respects the privacy of its visitors. The following information details the information collection and use practices on the site.
Information the site collects
Registration Information: Most areas of the site require a user account.
The only information asked for during the registration process is your desired
username and password, and a valid e-mail address.
Gameplay Logs: The web server records most actions taken while playing
the games, such as category selections, questioned displayed, answers you give,
and scores attained.
Server Logs: As with almost all web sites, technical information is stored
for each page requested, including the date and time, the URL of the page, the
IP address the page is sent to, and the version of web browser that made the
request.
Use of cookies
FrustrationTrivia.com uses web cookies in order to lessen the need for you as a registered
user to retype and retransmit your and password. When you log in, the server
will send your web browser a random series of letters and numbers which the
server will associate with your account. Every time you request a page, your
web browser will send back that cookie and the server will know the request
is coming from your account. When you logout by clicking the logout option your cookie will be reset to a meaningless
value and the server will forget the value it created for you. The next time
you log in, the cookie will be set to a new value. If your browser does not
accept FrustrationTrivia.com's cookie, you will need to retype your username and password
with annoying frequency.
We use third-party advertising companies to serve ads when you visit our website.
These companies may use information (not including your name, address, email address, or telephone number) about your visits to this and
other websites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you.
If you would like more information about this practice and to know your choices about not having this information used by these companies,

How collected information is
used
Games on the site: The games offered on the site use records stored
about your previous play for game functions such as keeping track of your score,
determining your position relative to other players on the site, and to adjusting
the point values of the questions offered to you and other players.
Scoreboard displays: The usernames of players are displayed in several
places on the site. If you do not wish your real name to be disclosed in this
way, you should select a username that does not contain any part of your real
name.
User quotations: When you submit information
to a form on the site, or send an e-mail to a feedback address mentioned on the site,
the information you submit may be quoted on the site.
Account recovery: If you indicate on the site that you have lost your
username and/or password, we will send you an e-mail with your username and
a new password.
Aggregate Reporting: Aggregate statistics determined from analysis of
the sites logs, such as the number of visitors to the site on a given day, the
percentage of people who give an incorrect answer to a certain question, or
the most popularly selected categories may be published on this site or published in
other places.
Site maintenance: The administrators of the site may use the logs kept
by the site when assessing the performance of the site, and when repairing any
technical problems.
Investigation of suspicious activity: If the administrators of the site
become suspicious of misuse or abuse of the site, they may use the site logs
and registration information to investigate. Information may shared with other
parties including law enforcement in such a situation.
As required by law: FrustrationTriva.com will share any information it is required
to if required by law or court order.
How your information WILL
NOT be used

will not be given to any third parties. FrustrationTrivia.com will not provide contact
information to any advertisers, nor send e-mail you have not opted into receiving.
We hate "Spam mail" and other forms of invasive adverting too, and
will take reasonable precautions to protect your personal information from being
compromised.
Future changes

and the personal information those new services need. A current version of the
privacy policy will remain posted to the site at this link,
and will be accessible through links displayed throughout the site. Revisions
to this policy will take effect at the time they are posted to the site.
